The parents of a 16-week-old infant who brought their baby girl to MetroHealth on Saturday with a head injury left the child there and fled. Officers have arrested the mother, 29-year-old Stephanie Webb, but the father, Mario Adrono, has still not been located.
According to Cleveland police, Webb and Adrono took the baby to the hospital around 6:30 p.m. Adrono left the hospital soon after. Webb left around 3:30 a.m.
Doctors told police the girl has severe head trauma, and signs of abuse. A doctor said the baby tested positive for marijuana. After speaking with the doctor, police requested help from the sex crimes unit.
Hospital staff informed police that the infant may be going to live with family in New York.
