A 34-year-old woman was hit and killed by a car late Tuesday night at East 71st Street and Fleet Avenue.
Police have not released details of the crash but said the woman killed was a pedestrian.
At the scene police were photographing a car with heavy front end damage and looking over skid marks that went up a sidewalk along Fleet Avenue.
A witness told News5 that the car that remained at the scene was hit by a minivan and that minivan caused the crash to occur.
The witness said the minivan took off after the crash.
Cleveland police have not yet released details about the crash.
