CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a homicide after a man was killed in a shooting while riding a scooter.
Around 8:45 p.m., officers were called to the area of East 124th Street and Superior Avenue for reports of shots fired, police said.
Once on scene, officers found a man, later identified as Christopher Tillman, 30, who had been shot in an alley with several people around him giving him aid, according to police.
Tillman was transported to University Hospitals where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Officers learned on scene that the man had been seen riding a scooter in the area and residents then heard shots fired, according to police.
Police have not made any arrests at this time and the shooting remains under investigation.
