Police charge man responsible for hit-skip that injured a 10-year-old boy

A man responsible for a hit-skip incident that injured a 10-year-old boy turned himself in to police Monday morning. 

According to Cleveland Police, 25-year-old Jeremy Boone turned himself in on Monday after he was involved in a hit-skip incident Wednesday night, November 23. 

Last Wednesday, a 10-year-old boy and his 12-year-old brother were crossing Lee Road in a crosswalk when they were struck by Boone's vehicle. The boy had injuries to the head and leg areas but was treated and released from the hospital. 

After turning himself in, Boone was taken into police custody and charged with aggravated vehicular assault which is a third-degree felony. The vehicle he was driving at the time also was recovered.
