CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating after a 19-year-old was shot and killed Friday while in the driver’s seat of a car in the area of West 91st Street and Denison Avenue.
Police responded Friday at around 9:50 p.m. to the area of West 91st Street and Denison Avenue.
The victim, William Lane, 19, of Cleveland, was found in the driver’s seat of a car parked at a Convenient Food Mart parking lot. Lane was taken to MetroHealth Medical Health Center where he was pronounced dead.
A second victim, identified as a 16-year-old boy, was found on the ground with a gunshot wound to the hip. He was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center for surgery. His condition is unknown.
Preliminary information indicated that the shooting is possibly drug-related.
Police said the suspected shooters are three unidentified males.
