CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating an incident that occurred Sunday where a man in his 50s allegedly attempted to run over several Black adolescents with his vehicle.
Police said the man was driving a 2001 Pontiac on Riverside Avenue in Cleveland’s Brooklyn Centre neighborhood around 10 p.m. when he attempted to run over the Black youths while using racial slurs.
A felonious assault/hate incident report was filed with police.
The incident is currently being investigated by detectives, police said.
