Authorities are looking for a man after he escaped from police custody in Cleveland Saturday morning.
Police said Antwoine Thomas was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center on Nov. 1 for treatment and escaped from custody through a bathroom window around 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 4.
Thomas has an extensive criminal history - including arson, burglary, escape and drugs - and should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
"Clearly, he displayed desperate measures to get out of the hospital. He is desperate and should be considered armed and dangerous," said Assistant Chief Deputy Ron Carter.
Carter was due in court on Monday, Nov. 6.
Cleveland Police declined to answer questions about the escape. MetroHealth Medical Center did not return our phone calls.
He was last seen wearing black jogging pants with a white stripe down the side of the legs and no shirt.
Police are utilizing all assets to find Thomas, including the U.S. Marshal violent fugitive task force.
Anyone who sees Thomas or knows his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 1-866-4-WANTED. There is a reward being offered for information.
