CLEVELAND — Police are looking for two men who have been identified as suspects in connection with a fatal shooting that happened last year in Cleveland’s South Collinwood neighborhood.

The shooting happened on Aug. 7, 2018, at a parking lot in the 14000 block of St. Clair Avenue. Authorities said that when officers arrived they found a man who had been shot in the head. Officers treated the man on the scene until EMS arrived. The man was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as 29-year-old Yuri Lee West.

Authorities said the incident resulted from a possible argument West had with another man. The individual, who is described as a 6-foot-tall black male wearing a white T-shirt, shot West and drove off in a maroon SUV.

Authorities haven't said how the two suspects are specifically connected to the case.

Anyone with information about the two men is asked to call Cleveland police.

A third man, Edward Blanton, was previously arrested and charged with aggravated murder.
