A man was killed early Sunday morning shortly after leaving a birthday celebration for a friend who passed away, according to Cleveland police.
Robert Irving, 25, was shot several times while inside a car on E. 36 Street and Community College Avenue around 2:30 a.m. When police arrived on scene, they said they saw a vehicle with multiple bullet holes through the front windshield and Irving sitting inside with several gunshot wounds.
Irving was pronounced dead on scene, according to police.
Police continue to investigate.
