Police need help identifying vehicle involved in May hit-skip with cyclist

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are asking for help in identifying the driver of a vehicle who struck a 70-year-old cyclist in May.

On May 27 around 8:05 a.m., a vehicle struck the man on his bicycle at the intersection of East 142nd Street and Kinsman Avenue, according to police.

Police said the driver of the vehicle may have stayed on the scene until EMS arrived, but left soon after without providing identification.

Police do not have a description of the vehicle as the make and model are still unknown.
