CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are searching for a person who allegedly shot at a man riding a scooter on West 3rd Street in Cleveland on Tuesday.
Officers responded at around 7 p.m. to the area of West 3rd Street and West St. Clair Avenue for shots fired and a man shot.
Upon the arrival of officers, a 25-year-old victim drove himself to Lutheran Hospital after getting shot in his legs, police said.
Investigators from the Third District said preliminary information indicated a male was riding a scooter downtown with other people when another unknown male from a black Chevy Impala shot at the victim.
The unknown shooter fled the scene.
The shooting victim was transported from Lutheran Hospital to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
