Police responding to possible fireworks call find man dead in car with gunshot wounds

An overnight call for what may have been fireworks or shots fired led to the discovery of a 47-year-old man found dead inside a car on Cleveland's east side, according to authorities.

The shooting happened around 2:50 a.m. on the 10610 block of Crestwood Avenue. Authorities found the victim inside a gray Audi with the engine still running and the lights on. Police said the victim was slumped over in the front seat and had multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim hasn't been identified. 

No witnesses were found and no arrests have been made. Anyone who may have information about the shooting is asked to call police at 216-623-5464
