CLEVELAND — An intoxicated driver caused a wrong crash on I-71 northbound near West 25th Street early Monday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Cleveland Police Department.
Cleveland police responded at around 12:40 a.m. to a two-car collision involving a wrong-way driver.
Cleveland EMS confirmed a 37-year-old woman was transported in stable condition to MetroHealth Medical Center.
Police said the intoxicated driver entered the highway at I-90 eastbound at East 152nd Street, going the wrong way until the driver crashed just after the Innerbelt bridge.
Cleveland EMS, police and fire all responded to the scene.
