Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers chased a stolen minivan with three people inside just after 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
The chase started after troopers attempted to stop the van for a violation near West 14th Street and Clark Avenue. That's when the driver took off.
They circled around the west side for a few minutes before entering Interstate 90 east at West 41st Street. The chase continued to I-490 then I-77 south before the driver exited the highway at Fleet Avenue.
After exiting onto Fleet Avenue the driver continued eastbound until the van stalled at East 72nd Street and Union Avenue.
Once the van stalled the two men and one woman inside jumped from the van and ran. Troopers were able to catch the woman but both men escaped. Cleveland police assisted the troopers in trying to locate the men but were unsuccessful.
Troopers said the van was freshly stolen and that the owner probably had no idea it was even gone.
