Two cars got stuck in high water along Quincy Avenue near East 105th Street after heavy rain flooded the roadway under a railroad bridge.
The driver and passengers of both cars were able to get out and walk to safety.
Both cars had to be towed from the scene after the drivers attempted but failed to get them to start.
