Two pedestrians hit by car, one killed on Cleveland's east side

One pedestrian was killed and another has serious injuries after they were struck by a car on Cleveland's east side early Saturday.

The crash happened at East 115th Street and Sellers Avenue.

According to police, an unidentified vehicle heading northbound on East 115th Street struck two people — a 60-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man. 

Patricia Williams, 60, of Cleveland, was pronounced dead hours later, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.

Both were transported to University Hospitals.

The man is still in the hospital for treatment of a fractured hip, broken right femur and other injuries.
