CLEVELAND — A 36-year-old man has been charged with murder for allegedly killing his girlfriend at their Westside home in Cleveland last summer.

Reinaldo DeJesus, of West 54th Street, has been charged with murder, according to court records.

DeJesus’ girlfriend, Rachel Mack, 27, was found dead inside her home in July 2018. Authorities said they originally believed Mack died from an overdose, but it was later determined she had been strangled.

Mack and DeJesus lived together at the time of her death, court records state.

DeJesus is not currently in police custody.
