Cleveland firefighters battle flames and wind
Posted

Cleveland firefighters battled the wind and intense flames just after 1:30 a.m. Monday at a home at the corner of East 123rd Street and Castlewood Avenue.

When firefighters arrived to the vacant home they found flames shooting from the windows on the second floor.

Wind pushed flames from the windows and eventually through the roof as firefighters worked from the exterior of the home.

An occupied neighboring home suffered melted siding but firefighters were able to keep the damage to that home at a minimum.

No firefighters were injured,

The cause is under investigation.
