CLEVELAND — Dangerous swimming conditions have prompted a Beach Hazards Statement that will be in effect through Monday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
The Beach Hazards Statement, which is issued when there is a risk for swimming because of large waves and rip currents, is in effect for Lake, Cuyahoga and Lorain counties.
The current swimming risks can create life threatening conditions even for good swimmers.
