The Mentor Police Department is investigating the possible manufacturing or storage of illegal fireworks in Mentor.
Police asked people to avoid the area near Heatherstone Condos at 6400 Center Street.
According to police, one of the units may contain the illegal products.
The Lake County Bomb Squad was ready to remove any explosives found.
