VILLAGE OF WAYNESBURG, Ohio — A massive fire broke out at Colfor Manufacturing in Malvern Tuesday morning, according to a Facebook post by the Village of Waynesburg.
Employees at Colfor Manufacturing, located at 3255 Alliance Road NW, were evacuated.
Colfor is a producer of automative parts by cold and warm forging, specializing in transmission shafts, transmission gears and wheel spindles, according to Bloomberg.
According to the Stark Fire Department and Rehab Unit, Carroll County requested additional assistance to put out the fire.
Malvern Elementary School is closed due to concerns over smoke and traffic delays from the fire.
