ASHLAND COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a wrong-way crash involving a tractor trailer in Ashland County.
The crash happened at 8 p.m. on I-71 North just south of mile marker 193.
A 2012 Volvo Semi was driving southbound on I-71 when it entered the center median, hit the cable barrier and continued southbound in the northbound lanes for half of a mile.
The 38-year-old man driving the semi was not injured.
Troopers said prescription medication appears to be a factor in the crash.
