The Ashtabula Sheriff's Office is investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Saybrook Township.
The incident happened in the 2900 block of West Prospect Road around 12:30 p.m., according to authorities.
When deputies arrived they found the victim lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. The alleged shooter was still at the scene and was and taken into custody.
The name of the victim and the suspect have not been released.
