A Geneva man is dead after a one-vehicle crash on Lake Road West in Geneva Township.
According to the Ohio State Patrol, 26-year-old Nicholas Campofredano was driving east on Lake Road West just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday when he went around a curve and lost control.
Officials say the car, a 2004 Chrysler Concorde, went off the road, hit a tree and overturned.
Campofredano was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
The cause of the crash is under investigation but officials say the car was traveling at an unsafe speed.
Campofredano was not wearing a seat belt.
