The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Ashtabula County.
The crash happened Tuesday around 3:30 p.m. on U.S. 322 just west of StanhopeKelloggsville Road in Wayne Township.
A red 2005 Ford F150 was driving east when it crossed over the center line and hit a blue 2007 Chevrolet C/K 1500, causing the vehicles to strike head-on.
The driver of the Chevrolet C/K 1500, 80-year-old Leonard Hoffstetter, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver had non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers said distracted driving does appear to be a factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
