A 53-year-old Ashtabula resident was killed Sunday morning in a motorcycle crash, according to the State Highway Patrol.

The victim, Randell S. Richards, was on a motorcycle traveling westbound on State Route 84 shortly before 1 a.m. when he drove off the side of the road, police said.
