A large party in Ashtabula County early Sunday morning got out of hand, leaving several people injured and multiple cars wrecked, according to the Ashtabula County sheriff.
Sheriff William Johnson said deputies responded to a property on Ireland Road in Hartsgrove Township around 3 a.m.
Those who were injured were taken to the hospital and have since been treated and released, according to the sheriff. One woman suffered a head injury, but, at this time, authorities are not sure how she was injured.
According to Johnson, multiple people at the party were armed with guns, and there was a lot of alcohol in the area.
The sheriff said this incident will require a lengthy investigation because so many people were involved. News 5 will provide updates as they become available.
