ASHTABULA, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash.
The crash happened around 11:15 a.m. on Griswold Road near West 30th Street in Ashtabula.
Alexis Rios-Rodriguez, 32, was driving a white 1997 Ford F-350 truck south on Griswold Road.
As the semi-tractor was turning left onto Griswold Road and was struck in the trailer by the truck.
The driver of the semi-tractor was not injured.
Rios-Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said that is does not appear that alcohol or drugs were involved.
