Two men have been arrested for a string of aggravated robberies in Cleveland's West Park neighborhood.

According to police sources, the two men acted independently of each other and are responsible for nearly a dozen robberies at area businesses that date back to the spring.

The aggravated robberies all happened at businesses in the Cleveland's First Police District.

Police have linked the two men to crimes at The Corner Stop Store, Boost Mobile, Coreno's Video, CVS, Subway, Primoz Pizza, Mr. Hero, Little Caesar's Pizza, BP,  and Sunoco.

Officers also believe the two are linked to robberies in other cities.

First District police detectives have been working on the case for several weeks piecing it together, said  First District Commander Tom McCartney.

"The community should rest a little easier knowing that these two men are off the street," said McCartney.
