MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — A 20-year-old man was shot early Thursday morning in Maple Heights, according to Maple Heights police.
Around 2:04 a.m., police were called to the 5200 block of Theodore Street after receiving reports that gunfire had been head in the residence, police said.
Police then received a report that a 20-year-old man had been shot at the scene.
Officers found the man with a gunshot wound to the back, police said.
Police said Maple Heights Fire Department transported the man to MetroHealth Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
The shooting is under investigation.
