MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Maple Heights Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.
Around 2:20 a.m., officers received a report of shots fired and a man lying in the parking lot of Politics Kitchen & Lounge in the 5100 block of Warrensville Center Road.
Once on scene, officers found a 28-year-old man who had been shot in the shoulder. He was taken to Metro Hospital in critical condition, police said.
The shooting remains under investigation.
