BEDFORD, Ohio — A 28-year-old woman has died after her vehicle went off the road and into a Bedford car dealership, striking multiple parked cars, according to a police report from the Bedford Police Department.
The crash happened Saturday at approximately 11:30 p.m. at a dealership at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Rockside Road in Bedford.
Officers observed a vehicle, traveling at a high rate of speed, veer off the roadway and into a line of parked cars at the dealership.
Surveillance video shows the vehicle going airborne as it rolled over several parked cars before coming to a rest on its roof. News 5 chose not to show the surveillance footage because of its graphic nature.
EMS responded to the dealership and transported the driver, identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner as Janelle A. Black, 28, of Cleveland, to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Bedford’s Accident Investigation Unit responded to investigate the crash.
