CLEVELAND - A 40-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car during an alleged fight Monday night, police said.
Cleveland police were called to the 13700 block of Astor Avenue on the city's west side at about 5:45 p.m.
Police said a 40-year-old woman was engaged in a physical fight with another person when she was hit and run over by a suspect, later identified as a 32-year-old woman.
The 40-year-old woman was taken to Fairview Hospital Cleveland Clinic where she died from her injuries.
The suspect was later located at the First District Police headquarters after she showed up to report the fight.
News 5 is not naming the 32-year-old woman until formal charges have been announced.
Cleveland's homicide unit is investigating.
