A Pentair employee was arrested in connection with more than $80,000 in copper being stolen from the business.

Police said Pentair installed a security camera after it noticed inventory missing. On Dec. 8, the video caught a man, identified as Pentair employee Ricky Flowers, taking a pallet of copper reels and moving it near an emergency exit, then propping the door open.

After midnight that night, three men came in the building through the emergency exit and took 20 reels of copper — about $11,600 worth.

Police estimate that 134 rolls of copper were stolen between Sept. 1 and Dec. 8, 2015.

The case is still under investigation and additional arrests may be made.
