Fairmount Properties announced on Tuesday that it signed the purchase contract for an AC Hotel by Marriott which will open with 145 rooms.
The hotel will be located in the 400,000 square feet of retail space for the Pinecrest mixed-use development, which aims to feature apparel, home and specialty stores; along with restaurant, theater, and office space; the hotel and residences, according to Fairmount Properties press statement.
Site work is 75 percent complete on the 58 acre Pinecrest development, located at Interstate 271 and Harvard Road. Further construction is planned in late spring, Fairmont Properties stated.
