Bedford police need your help in winning new vehicle for K-9 Luca by voting in national contest

BEDFORD, Ohio — The Bedford Police Department is a finalist in a contest to win a new K-9 vehicle, and they are asking for the public’s help to secure a new car for their K-9 Luca.

Bedford police are a finalist in the 2019 law enforcement SUV giveaway, giving them a chance to win a brand new Chevy Tahoe SUV customized for a K-9 unit.

Patrolman David Kempski and K-9 Luca want the public to cast their votes in the contest, which runs until Oct. 31.

The police department and K-9 with the most votes by 7:59 a.m. EST on Oct. 31 will win the SUV.
