A northeast Ohio Walmart is shutting down Thursday and customers are clearing the shelves during the store's 75-percent-off sale.
Everything in the Bedford store except electronics, guns, jewelry and alcohol are marked down, and many of the shelves were completely empty by early Wednesday evening.
Walmart announced earlier this month that 154 stores across the country would close.
The Bedford location, which employs about 300 workers, is the only one in Ohio and will close its doors for good at 9 pm on Jan. 28.
On Friday, the location marked down prices by 50 percent and police said lines were wrapped around the building, even forcing the store to close its doors several times when it hit capacity.
It is also the smallest city in America affected by Walmart's move -- and a big blow to a city still reeling from the loss of another big employer, Ben Venue Laboratories, back in 2013. That company laid off 1,100 when it closed down.
According to Bedford's city manager, Walmart's move will result in about a quarter-million dollar hit to the city's annual budget.
