SANDUSKY COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Sandusky County.
The crash happened around 12:15 a.m. on U.S. 6 at the Terra Roundabout.
Troopers said a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by 56-year-old Roger Cox of Berea, was headed south bound on U.S. 6 approaching the roundabout.
Cox failed to negotiate the curve, ran off the left side of the road onto the raised brick median and back off the median into the roadway.
He then struck a curb and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Cox was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and impairment is still under investigation.
