BROOKLYN, Ohio — The City of Brooklyn is getting a Swenson’s Drive-in.
On June 6, the Brooklyn Planning Commission approved plans for the new restaurant, which will be built on the southwest corner of Ridge Road and Buddulph Avenue, confirmed Building Commission Dave Kulcsar.
Construction could start in a few months, Kulcsar said. The owner of the property is working on relocating a daycare that is currently there to a new location. Constructions plans for the Swenson’s also need to be submitted.
Kulscar said the city is looking forward to getting a new business that will provide a nice alternative to other restaurants in the area.
Swenson's is an Akron-based burger drive-in restaurant where servers deliver food right up to your car.
