SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — South Euclid police are searching for the person responsible for killing a cat with a knife.
Police said they received a call on Feb. 10 from a woman that lives in the 1700 block of South Belvoir Boulevard that said her outside cat was seriously injured.
The woman took her cat to the veterinarian, where he died during surgery.
Police said the veterinarian removed a pellet from the cat's left thigh and also indicated that the cat had wounds on the left side of his head and left and right ears that looked like knife wounds. Police did not indicate how a pellet ended up in the cat's thigh.
