PARMA, Ohio — After flash flooding caused extensive damage to properties in Parma over the weekend, city officials have prepared cleaning kits for homeowners left with a mess to clean up.

In a Facebook post, Fire Chief Michael Lasky and Mayor Time DeGeeter secured approximately 150 clean up kits to distribute to residents that experienced flooding from Sunday’s floods.

The kits will be given to residents to assist in their individual cleaning projects.

Residents who would like a kit can contact their local council member or the mayor’s office at 440-885-8001.
