CLEVELAND — On Wednesday, the Cleveland Clinic announced it will offer fully paid time away to eligible new parents.
The benefits, which will be implemented in April 2020, will offer fully paid time away to eligible new parents, according to a news release from Cleveland Clinic.
Mothers will receive eight weeks of maternity leave following childbirth, in addition to four weeks of parental leave.
For the other parent, four weeks of parental leave will be given.
Paid maternity and parental leave benefits will be available to eligible caregivers for births or adoption placements (for children age 17 or younger) occurring on or after April 1, 2020.
The benefits will be eligible to all Cleveland Clinic locations in the United States.
The Cleveland Clinic will give additional details in the coming months.
