Cleveland Heights Police has named its new police chief.
Capt. Annette Mecklenberg will be sworn in in February 2016 after current Chief Jeffrey Robertson retires.
Mecklenberg has been on the Cleveland Heights police force since 1990. She is a graduate of Bowling Green University and has a juris doctorate from Cleveland Marshall Law School. She became a captain earlier this year.
