Cleveland police identify third victim in fatal Kirby Avenue crash

The third victim of a fatal crash in Cleveland has officially been identified.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the girl as 17-year-old Takia Jackson. 

Early Saturday morning, three people were killed and two were seriously injured when 20-year-old Kareem Walton, who was driving well above the 25 mph speed limit on Kirby Avenue, lost control of the car and hit a tree. 

All four passengers were ejected from the car. Three of those passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.

Walton is facing aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault charges in connection with the crash. 

Police already identified the other two victims as 17-year-old Alexandria Winegarner and 17-year-old Deija Wynne.
