Cleveland police searching for missing 12-year-old girl last seen walking away from school

The Cleveland Police Department is searching for a missing 12-year-old girl who was seen leaving Newton D. Baker School of Arts with a group of friends and hasn't been seen since.

According to the missing persons report, the 12-year-old was reported missing by her mother.

The girl's mother said she dropped off her daughter at school. When school let out at around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, her younger sister saw her walking away from school with a group of her friends from the bus stop.

The missing girl's younger brother told their mother that one of his friends saw his sister crying at the West Park Rapid Station, saying she was upset because she didn't have enough money for the rapid, according to the report.

The whereabouts of girl are unknown at this time.

She is described as 5 foot, 2 inches, with black hair and brown eyes.
