A Cleveland woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing her ex-boyfriend at a group home Saturday night, police said.
Officers responded to the home, located at 3244 East 139th Street, at around 7 p.m. for a report of a man stabbed.
When police arrived, they found suspect Jamika Daniels, 21, comforting the 19-year-old male victim, who was bleeding, on the couch.
“I stabbed him,” Daniels said as soon as officers entered the home.
Daniels told police she and the victim, who live in the same group home but reside in separate apartments, got into an argument when the stabbing happened.
Daniels also told police she did not mean to stab the victim, and only meant to scare him, according to authorities.
Police said the victim suffered a stab wound to the left side of his chest and was taken to University Hospitals for treatment.
Daniels was taken into custody by police.
