A Cleveland man was indicted Thursday on several charges for breaking into a home. He left behind a clue: his debit card.

Micheal Schmidt is charged with burglary, aggravated theft, having weapons while under disability and two counts of grand theft after he broke into a home Feb. 17 in the 4000 of Fulton Court by removing a false wall and taking $14,000, an assault rifle, 2000 rounds, and two .38 caliber handguns and jewelry, according to Cuyahoga County Municipal Court documents.

Schmidt, 34, dropped his debit card in the room as he made off with the property. He was being held in the county jail on a $50,000 bond.

Schmidt is scheduled to be arraigned Monday at 8:30 a.m.
