Despite government shutdown, visitors can still enjoy Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Even with the government shutdown closing the national parks across the country, visitors can still enjoy a hike through the Cuyahoga County National Park this weekend as the weather starts to warm up over the next few days.

Here is what will remain open during the shutdown:

All trails and trailheads.

All scheduled conservancy events and programs will continue as planned, including the House Concert on Jan. 21 and the Alpine Ski Dinner on Jan. 23 and 24. For a full listing of events go here.

Train excursions for the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad will continue as scheduled. For more information click here.

The Farmer's Market at Old Trail School on Jan. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon is still scheduled.

All ranger-led activities.

All CVNP volunteer activities.
