CLEVELAND — The Detroit-Superior Bridge will be closed Friday, Oct. 4 for bridge repairs, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The bridge will be closed from 7:00 p.m. to 6 a.m. for concrete bridge deck overlays.
Traffic will be detoured as follows:
Eastbound traffic will be detoured via W. 28th St. to SR 2 east to Lakeside Ave. to W. 3rd St. to Superior Avenue.
Westbound traffic will be detoured via W.3rd St. to Lakeside Ave. to SR 2 west to W. 49th Street.
Changes to I-77 northbound and southbound
Those who take I-77 will experience changes to traffic flow.
The I-77 north ramp to I-490 west and the I-480 east ramp to I-77 north will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for bridge construction. The I-77 north to I-490 west detour will be Broadway Avenue, north to I-490 west.
The I-490 east to I-77 north detour will be Broadway Avenue north to East 30th Street to I-77 north.
