A motor vehicle crash caused a power line pole to fall down onto Pearl Road in Parma Thursday afternoon prompting authorities to close the area off to drivers.
The Parma Fire Department closed the southbound lanes of 5510 Pearl Road at the 5510 block.
Crews are on scene waiting for the Illuminating Company to respond.
Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area.
